- Choose the aarch64.dmg file for a Mac with an Apple M-series chip.
- Intel DMG
- Choose the x64.dmg file for an Intel Mac.
How to install Musique on macOS
- Open the Apple menu, choose About This Mac and check the Chip or Processor field.
- Open the official latest GitHub release. Choose aarch64.dmg for Apple Silicon or x64.dmg for Intel.
- Open the downloaded DMG and drag Musique into Applications.
- Launch Musique from Applications and sign in with your Spotify account.
If macOS blocks the app, read the warning and check that the file came from the official repository. See the release notes and GitHub issues for current signing and installation guidance.
Spotify Free and Premium accounts
Premium accounts stream directly through librespot. Free accounts use YouTube Music for playback with Spotify library and metadata. Musique is unofficial and uses a reverse-engineered protocol that is against Spotify's Terms of Service.

Installation help
If Musique will not open, first confirm that the DMG matches your processor. Include your macOS version, processor type and Musique release version when reporting an issue.
Search or report a GitHub issue. Never include tokens, passwords or client secrets in a report.
